On entering the house the first thing you will notice is the incredibly beautiful and well crafted Chettinad style main door. The home stay has three tastefully furnished bedrooms and attached bathrooms, as well as a kitchen and a common dining area. All meals will be taken care of by the in house cook, the authentic rural Karnataka cuisine using whole grains and organically grown vegetables. The meals are cooked in authentic Kannada style with the typical rural delicacies. The specialty is that the cook does this in earthen pots to give it that extra rural flavor that is missing in most other places and the vegetables used are all grown right behind the house.

While at ‘Gopi’s Farm’ you can take the time to reflect and enjoy a peaceful time taking long walks, appreciating nature and even sitting down to a barbeque by the bonfire at night.
At the home stay we not only present you with an experience to see rural living but also allow you to actively participate in activities like ploghing the fields with the ox, a bullock cart ride, vegetable farming, coconut farming, silkworm feeding, dairy farming and many more.
